Project management in Corfu for owners abroad
You are in London, Milan or Zurich. The site is above Kassiopi. Someone has to be on it every week.
Project management for owners abroad
PM-05
One local contact for owners who live elsewhere: permits, engineers, trades, deliveries and payments, reported to you in writing with photographs.
Building on Corfu from another country fails for ordinary reasons: a delivery that nobody signed for, a permit condition nobody read, a trade who left for a bigger job. Our job is to be the person on the ground who reads, signs and follows up.
You get a fixed weekly report with photographs, a cost ledger that matches the invoices, and one phone number. We manage our own builds this way, and we manage builds by other contractors when an owner asks for an independent eye.

The build, in three stages
01 · Land and permits
A site visit, a measured survey and a written brief. We establish levels, access and what the plot will carry before anything is drawn.
02 · Design and costing
Drawings, a written specification and an itemised cost, trade by trade. You approve the number before we break ground.
03 · Build and handover
One site manager on the job, staged sign-offs, photographs every week and a snagging list closed out before handover.
Questions
What owners ask about project management for owners abroad
Coordinating the permit file with the engineer, tendering and contracting local trades, weekly site visits, deliveries and quality checks, cost tracking against the contract and a weekly written report with photographs. You keep one contact and one phone number.
Yes. Some owners already have a contractor and want an independent local eye on programme, quality and invoices. We take that role under a separate agreement that sets out what we check and how we report.
Payments follow a schedule tied to stages in the contract, with each stage certified before it is invoiced. You receive the cost ledger with the invoices it relates to, so what you pay matches what was built.
Not for the build to progress. Owners usually visit at the design stage, at the end of the frame and before handover. Between visits the weekly report, photographs and video calls keep you in the decisions.
